An Overview on Nuclear Non-Proliferation and National Security
On January 17, 2014 the Foundation for Nuclear Studies hosted a luncheon briefing featuring Dr. Richard Meserve, President of the Carnegie Institution, and Tom Moore, Deputy Director and Senior Fellow, Proliferation Prevention Program at CSIS. The briefing’s subject focused on issues pertaining to nuclear non-proliferation and national security. Dr. Meserve’s opening remarks set the stage by highlighting the current challenges facing national security. Mr. Moore continued the discussion by providing a context to non-proliferation and 123 agreements.
