The forum highlighted how NEUP invests in the next generation of nuclear by supporting university-based R&D efforts. The briefing’s panel featured Mr. Shane Johnson, Department of Energy (DOE-NE) and Dr. John Gilligan, NEUP Integration Office, who explained the DOE’s funding and direct role with the program.
